I recently revisited the town of Nairn to meet up with the kindred within and to meet the local Brujah primogen of Nairn "Julius Cartwright" and the Brujah Prince of Inverness "Zeke". A number of events that occurred during the night a deer with it's throat cut was laid in the centre of the room for some time up until a local police officer entered and questioned it's presence. One of the local kindred a Gangrel I believe claimed that he had hit it with his car and rather than leave it on the road he had brought it here. The police officer said that he would check the vehicle and then take a written statement. The officer and the kindred in question left the room, then knowing that the events that he described had not occurred Daniel knight of the Toreador and Ton Ton Macoot of the (either Malkavians or Gangrel I forget which) went down to the car park and using their monumental strength and speed they made a considerable dent in the front of the car and returned to the Elysium. What Ton Ton forgot was that he had dumped the body in the back of some person he had killed in the back of that car and forgot to remove it so when the police officers arrived at the car park they saw the dent in the front of the car and were about to leave when they went around to the back and fount the body in the boot. The kindred in question was swiftly arrested and taken down to the police station. As the story goes in the police station he was locked in a cell and at some point about half and hour later he used one of his clan disciplines to turn himself into mist and escape through the window. The major problem with this was that apparently one of the guards saw him change and called in the sergeant who saw the last bit of smoke exit the window. Major breach of the masquerade. The rest of the night was spent cleaning up the breach with large doses of influence and the kindred in question returning to his cell owing most of the kindred of Nairn boons. Though not me. Diary SectionApril 13th After all the excitement of that Elysium which actually wasn't an Elysium as there was no keeper and the princehood was in question I went to my haven in Forres. I was shocked to find that the Forres Elysium had been destroyed in some kind of explosion a few months ago. I stayed there for the day and at night I fed from Mark one of my herd then explored the changes to the town I had spent so many years in. April 14th For another day I slept in the haven I have in Forres, then that night I returned to Edinburgh , to the chaos, to the anguish and pain, to the eternal darkness of the city. The enlightenment I gained in the comfort of those I know fired my conviction to achieve Golconda my quest continues. April 15th Back in Edinburgh and I meet up with a friend of mine Paul Dewar a Gangrel who wanted me to teach him celerity level three for fortitude level one I agreed as I had taught him the second level the month before. April 16th – 30th I was learning fortitude from Paul Dewer and teaching him Celerity 3. Xp spent this session: 4xp Xp spent on: Fortitude Level 1 Endurance (4xp) | |
