Finished university now and working as a web and databse programmer with the University of Edinburgh.

Kamui is an odd name and I was asked why I chose it there is a story about this.

It starts with the watching of a movie called X a Japanese Anime movie about the end of the world (The series I have found to be even better) in which the main character is called Kamui, this translates to “God’s Power” the one who will save or destroy the earth by the actions he takes. The impact of that movie and many other martial arts movies inspired me to create the character “Kamui Shiro” for roleplaying.

Kamui Shiro is a Buddhist Brujah he is an enigma two forces clashing against each other the solidarity and peace of the Buddhist and the feral rage and force of the brujah history’s unwritten warriors. This concept intrigued me truly and I had great fun playing him.

When it came to online I just kept the name and it grew from there.
